SIX MONTHS AFTER CYCLONE NARGIS CONTINUED NEED FOR RELIEF AND LONG TERM SUPPORT

Six months after cyclone Nargis struck, there is a continued need for emergency relief, as well as support for early and long term recovery efforts. 2.4 million people in the Ayeyarwady and Yangon Divisions were severely affected when the cyclone hit their villages.
